The Bluebell Railway

Experience the Joy of Steaming through the Beautiful Sussex Countryside

Popular with film and tv production companies for its period charm for series, such as Downton Abbey, the Bluebell Railway runs steam trains on a 22 mile round trip through the beautiful Sussex countryside between Sheffield Park & East Grinstead.

As one of the first preserved heritage lines in the country, starting train services in August 1960, it has one of the finest collections of vintage steam locomotives and carriages in the country.
